هي حديقة نباتية يمكن تشكيلها في طبق و توضع داخل البيوت أو معلقة على الجدران من الداخل أو على الشرفات .
هي حدائق بسيطة لا تحتاج إلى مهارة بقدر ما تحتاج إلى الذوق الرفيع في انسجام الألوان مع بعضها.
إن عمق 10 سم من أي نوع من الأطباق المستخدمة لهذا النوع من الحدائق كاف لأداء الغرض وهو مصنوع من الفخار أو الخشب أو من الخزف أو من المعدن مع ضرورة توفر ثقب في أسفله لتصريف الماء الزائد عن حاجة النبات.
أما المواد المستعملة لتحسين الصرف فهي الفخار المكسر و الفحم الخشن قليلا و الرمل الخشن و الحصى الناعم و الرماد و يفضل استعمال الطحالب في هذه الحدائق لتمنع صرف التربة من فتحة التصريف.
خلطة التربة المفضلة هي كميات متساوية من الرمل و الطين و الطحالب و الفحم المكسر بالإضافة إلى قطع من الصخور الجميلة بألوانها و أشكالها خاصة تلك التي تنمو عليها بعض الاشنيات أو قطع من قلف الأشجار.
و من أهم النباتات التي تصلح لهذه الحدائق :
