أكثر من 2000 مشارك من 70 دولة ، شاركوا في النسخة الـ 37 من المسابقة التي تنظمها سنويا شركة “نيكون” اليابانية للصور المجهرية. “نيكون” هي شركة متعددة الجنسيات مقرها في طوكيو اليابان متخصصة في صناعة البصريات والتصوير. تعتمد هذه المسابقة على صور يتم تصويرها بالمجهر لكائنات دقيقة لا ترى بالعين المجردة.
